Torre and MLB in talks about VP position
Joe Torre is reportedly in talks with baseball commissioner Bud Selig about an executive position with Major League Baseball, according to the New York Daily News. The Daily News reports that Torre has spoken with Selig about becoming vice president of operations through unnamed sources. Torre stepped down as manager of the Dodgers at the end of last season and handed the reigns to Don Mattingly.
