Michigan names Brady Hoke head coach

I think this is a pretty good pickup for a Michigan football team that's finding it rather difficult to get a big name coach in town.

Hoke worked wonders at Ball State, taking them to a 12-1 record in 2008 and brought San Diego State to a 9-4 record last year after they were under. 500 for years.

Michigan was dead set against going after a guy without ties to the program, talking to Jim Harbaugh and Les Miles and being declined by both. Hoke is a great third option and, in my mind the talent level dropped immensely after him.
